We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Python Engineer to join our team in Lviv/Kyiv!
About the job:
Were looking for a Python Backend Engineer to develop and optimize API layers that wrap around ML models. This role sits at the intersection of backend systems and machine learning infrastructure. Youll design APIs improve system architecture and ensure smooth deployment of machine learning services.
What Youll get to do:
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Optimize backend performance and scalability.
- Implement CI/CD workflows and monitoring solutions.
- Write unit integration and load tests in collaboration with QA team.
- Handle exception management and QA for ML services.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- Support Airflow pipelines for model and data orchestration.
What You need to know:
- Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics or equivalent.
- 23 years of experience in Python backend development.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience working with Flask/FastAPI in highload systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP AWS or Azure).
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Solid understanding of programming paradigms (OOP functional).
- Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ML/AI model integration in production.
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow for orchestration.
- Knowledge of monitoring logging and observability best practices.
