Job Description
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13week travel/contract assignment in Lanham MD 20706. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $1505 $1610
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct evaluations to identify speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders.
- Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
- Therapy Implementation: Provide therapy to improve communication skills including speech articulation language comprehension and expression voice fluency and social communication.
- Swallowing Therapy: Address swallowing disorders by developing and implementing appropriate treatment strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and audiologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid SLP License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology (CCCSLP) from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA).
- Recent clinical experience (minimum 1 year).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay.
