We are seeking aSpeech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 26weektravel/contract assignment in Fresno CA . Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2320 $2480
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct evaluations to identify speech language cognitivecommunication and swallowing disorders.
Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
Therapy Implementation: Provide therapy to improve communication skills including speech articulation language comprehension and expression voice fluency and social communication.
Swallowing Therapy: Address swallowing disorders by developing and implementing appropriate treatment strategies.
Family and Caregiver Education: Educate family members and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing at home.
Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals such as doctors and audiologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations treatment plans progress and discharge summaries.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid state licensure or certification as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in SpeechLanguage Pathology (CCCSLP) from the American SpeechLanguageHearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Experience with a diverse patient population is advantageous.
Travel & Local Benefits:
Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay
