Job Description

Financial Model Validation Analyst

Pay Rate: $50 W2
Location: Chicago IL
Work schedule details: onsite


*Only visas accepted are H1B L2 EAD H4 EAD AOS EAD & OPT EAD. Permanent residents and green card holders. TN visas only if the contractor lives in US.

  • Ongoing contract (Client maintains right to hire after 3 months though rarely exercises this right)
  • Location: Chicago IL

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform independent validation of financial risk models including loss forecasting PPNR economic capital and market/liquidity risk models
  • Assess model methodology assumptions data quality and performance
  • Apply statistical techniques time series analysis and econometric models for validation
  • Develop and maintain validation tools using Python and Excel
  • Prepare detailed documentation and communicate findings to model developers and stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience in financial model validation or development

  • Expertise in loss forecasting PPNR economic capital or market/liquidity risk modeling

  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling time series analysis and econometrics

  • Proficiency in Python and Excel

  • Strong communication documentation and analytical skills
