Job Description
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture database design and administration.
- Expertise in TSQL for writing and debugging scripts stored procedures and triggers.
- Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups including Always On and failover clustering.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
- Knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks for database systems.
- Experience with cloudbased SQL services (Azure SQL Database AWS RDS).
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Redgate SolarWinds DPA or SQL Sentry.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and database automation tools.
- Knowledge of SSIS SSRS and Power BI for ETL and reporting tasks.
- Experience with other Databases MySQL MongoDB etc.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of handson experience managing SQL Server databases
