Your Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly financial closing process for both Malaysia and overseas reporting including the approval of all accounting entries and preparation of key financial statements such as P&L balance sheet cash flow tax computations and other relevant reports.
- Maintain and update project cash flow forecasts.
- Ensure timely reconciliation and updating of audit and tax schedules related to both income statement and balance sheet items.
- Review tax estimates in coordination with the Group Tax Department for periodic selfassessment filings.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders and support or lead the team in preparing audit documentation and checklists ahead of audit engagements.
- Support the annual budgeting process and periodic financial reviews.
- Prepare and analyze monthly profit recognition and monitor project financial feasibility updates.
- Lead the preparation of draft audited financial statements in collaboration with the finance team.
- Liaise with internal and external parties including bankers auditors and business units to support financial operations and reporting activities.
Requirement
- Bachelor s degree or professional qualification in Finance Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Exposure to the construction and property development industry is a plus.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude high sense of responsibility and solid analytical and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
