Job Description

Picture this: You re joining a forwardthinking company a leader in the debt relief industry based in San Diego California as an IT Project Manager

Where you ll be at the heart of transforming how technology supports a growing and impactful business. You won t just be managing projects you ll be making a tangible difference every day. You ll guide crossfunctional teams ensuring that tech projects are delivered seamlessly while contributing to the company s overall success.

You ll be the goto person for ensuring every detail is covered and that the projects you lead have a measurable impact on the company s future.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & :

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope goals deliverables required resources budget and timelines

  • Create and maintain project documentation including project charters requirements documents and status reports

  • Implement project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid) appropriate to the project requirements

  • Coordinate internal resources and thirdparty vendors for flawless of projects

  • Establish and manage project schedules dependencies and critical paths

  • Track project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques

Team Leadership:

  • Lead crossfunctional project teams providing clear direction and removing obstacles to success

  • Facilitate productive project meetings ensuring clear communication of objectives and action items

  • Assign and prioritize tasks to team members based on skills experience and project needs

  • Mentor and develop team members to enhance performance and professional growth

  • Manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment

Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding project activities and status

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure appropriate involvement throughout the project lifecycle

  • Communicate project progress risks and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner

  • Facilitate decisionmaking processes with stakeholders to address project challenges

  • Present project outcomes and business value to executives and key stakeholders

Risk & Change Management:

  • Identify assess and manage project risks developing mitigation strategies as needed

  • Implement change management processes to ensure controlled project evolution

  • Develop contingency plans to minimize project disruptions

  • Manage scope changes through formal processes evaluating impacts on timeline budget and resources

  • Ensure that project changes are properly documented and communicated to all stakeholders

Budget & Resource Management:

  • Develop and manage project budgets ensuring fiscal responsibility and accurate forecasting

  • Track and report on project expenditures identifying variances and implementing corrective actions

  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

  • Negotiate with vendors and service providers to obtain favorable terms and conditions

  • Manage project procurement activities ensuring compliance with organizational policies

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish quality standards and metrics for project deliverables

  • Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet requirements

  • Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities

  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards methodologies and best practices

  • Validate that project outcomes fulfill business requirements and deliver expected value


Performance Indicators:

  • Successful delivery of projects within defined constraints (scope time budget quality)

  • Stakeholder satisfaction with project processes and outcomes

  • Accuracy of project estimates and forecasts

  • Effectiveness in managing risks and issues

  • Quality of project documentation and reporting

  • Team member satisfaction and professional development

  • Contribution to process improvements and organizational learning




Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred

  • Additional certifications such as Agile/Scrum Master ITIL or Prince2 are desirable

  • 5 years of experience in IT project management

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects

  • Experience leading crossfunctional teams in a matrix environment

  • Background in relevant technical domains (software development infrastructure cloud migrations etc.

  • Experience with project management software and tools (MS Project Jira Asana etc.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure software development methodologies and technology trends

  • Proficiency with project management tools and software

  • Knowledge of business analysis and requirements gathering techniques

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and best practices

  • Understanding of IT governance frameworks and compliance requirements
