Job Summary
The Ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the creation of original concepts that result in effective and compelling communication.
Job Responsibilities
- Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with other members of the creative team.
- Understand marketing initiatives strategic positioning and target audience.
- Managing and supervising multiple projects and teams.
- Ensuring resources are allocated according to project needs.
- Directing copy design and development of creative materials.
- Take work from concept to final within deadlines
- Present completed ideas to client/team members
- Stay on top of all trends and maintain best practices from strategy to creative disciplines.
- Integrate technical and visual solutions into creative concepts
- Understand trends within the scope of client s industry
- Review and ensure output are visually appealing functional in the market place and on brand.
- Evaluating creative performance and guiding improvements.
- Offer fresh interesting creative ideas to clients in order to generate/increase revenue.
- Manage multiple projects with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly
- Meet deadlines and stay within budget constraints
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of campaign objectives and devise strategies to achieve them
- Participate actively in brainstorming meetings and drive creative sessions
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years work experience as a Creative Director with at least 5 years in Marketing/Creative Industry
- Creative and innovative writing skills
- Demonstrable graphic design/copywriting skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with required tools in line with the field of practice.
- Good management skills
- Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Degree in a relevant field and ARCON Certification
KPI
- Create award winning concepts with at least a win in a year from a reputable award body.
- Generate 3rd party invoicing to the tune of minimum 50million per annum.
- Generate at least 200 million per annum from creatives content/visual creation commercials etc
- At least B grading in performance appraisals of subordinates.
- 100 timely issue resolution
- At least 10 cost savings per project overall budget
- At least 30 profit of project overall budget
- At least 80 achievement rate by team members
- Quarterly report to be submitted to the management Monthly report sent to the GM by the last working day of the month.
Leading the Charge
- Leading and participating in brainstorming sessions.
- Test all executions across various media.
- Critic and give constructive feedback of all executions from the agency.
- Review and ensure teams output are visually appealing functional in the market place and on brand.
- Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging per project.
- Evaluating team for agency performance and guiding improvements.
- Actively seek to resolve any concerns within your team while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior before escalating to HR.
- Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each team member in line with their individual goal and provide constructive feedback.
- Motivate team members to perform at their best
- Set clear goals and communicate that information to team members effectively
- Develop and lead team building exercises in line with HR policy.
