As part of an expansion strategy across the hospitality and catering equipment group of publications and events we are looking for a highly motivated Account executive to join our team who has great sales acumen you will be responsible for achieving/exceeding monthly sales targets across the portfolio of titles including Foodservice Equipment Journal and Catering Insight USA. You will be joining a small team and reporting directly into the publisher of Catering Insight so it s a phenomenal opportunity to develop your career. This role will focus on the Catering Insight brand providing daily digest for manufacturers suppliers distributors and service specialists across the vibrant catering equipment supply chain in the UK. In addition to providing news exclusive interviews comment & analysis debate plus examples of best practice and innovation Catering Insight supports the industry by driving its news agenda with insightful reports and research as well as bespoke events and industry discussion.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for achieving/exceeding monthly sales targets across the portfolio of titles including Foodservice Equipment Journal and Catering Insight USA.
- Identifying potential lead sources and prospects for new business
- Cold calling to prospect for business
- Creating and maintaining sales reports
- Data mining and reporting
- Creation of sponsorship/marketing proposals
- Management of client base to ensure we deliver across all our mediums to the best possible standard
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively handle customer enquiries and understand customer requirements
- Organised and selfmotivated with the ability to interact well within a team
- Capable of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Eager to develop knowledge and understanding of the wider catering equipment industry
- Strong written and verbal communication for presentations emails and calls
- Understanding of industry trends client businesses and competitive landscape
- Ability to adjust to changing client needs industries or sales approaches
