Prepare and bake a variety of breads pastries cakes and other baked products following established recipes and quality standards.
Ensure the bakery section is wellstocked visually appealing and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
Monitor product freshness rotate stock and minimise waste in line with best practices.
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety and hygiene guidelines.
Provide excellent customer service including handling custom orders and answering product queries.
Collaborate with team members and support the wider store operations where needed.
Maintain production logs and assist with stock control and ordering when required.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a baker in a retail or commercial setting.
A strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures.
Flexibility to work early mornings weekends and public holidays.
High attention to detail and a passion for food quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Selfmotivated with good time management skills.
