Job Description
This is a remote position.
We re looking for a Backend Engineer to contribute to the development and global expansion of a product focused on spatial data and risk analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean reusable and efficient code to meet functional requirements.
- Develop APIs and backend features ensuring security scalability and performance.
- Integrate with cloudbased storage systems like databases and object storage.
- Write automated tests and contribute to infrastructure templates.
- Collaborate on architectural decisions estimations and product planning.
- Proactively suggest and implement improvements.
Requirements
Requirements
- 3 4 years of experience in backend development with Python and APIs.
- Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
- Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Solid understanding of async programming and message queues.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS Lambda SQS and batch/ETL processing.
- Familiarity with Postgres DynamoDB or MongoDB.
- Handson with Flask or FastAPI.
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
- Background in geospatial projects.
