Job Description
As our senior consultant specialized in Financial processes you will work closely with colleagues ensuring we deliver value to the customer through our projects.
To succeed in the role as a senior consultant we expect you are:
- An expert in Finance processes
- Good at guiding our customers in how to best utilize the IFS applications in relation to their business requirements.
- Confident in designing and documenting solutions challenge and advise customers and deliver on expectation thus ensuring success for both parties.
- Triggered by the contrast of understanding the business objectives and endtoend processes as well as digging down in details to achieve the best possible solution for both the customer and IFS.
- Used to work in projects with implementation / upgrade of systems/applications or aftermarket processes on the customer or vendor side.
- Experienced in advising customers; from scoping solutions to implementation and rollout.
We expect you to continuously want to develop and learn to stay relevant and being an expert who shares knowledge and experience with customers and colleagues. This includes staying updated within your field of expertise on technology as well as the industry segments in which IFS operates.
Qualifications :
Must have:
- An academic background with a university degree in IT Engineering or Business Administration.
- Experience in working with an ERP or bestofbreed system as a consultant as key user at an end customer or other software supplier with minimum 3 years experience.
- In depth knowledge of the processes in the Finance area as well as a recognized financial qualification.
- A profound interest in how systems can support business processes.
- Commercial focus business acumen and a cando attitude.
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work under time pressure meet deadlines and prioritize actions in several projects at the same time
Preferred to have:
- Experience from working with IFS Applications
- Experience of working in ITprojects; leading workshops writing specifications configuring applications conducting training documentation etc.
- Experience from modern applications and mobile solutions. Understanding of relational databases SQL and XML is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
- Understanding of key modelling techniques (proficiency in the use of 2C8 scope modelling tool will be an asset)
- Experience and ability to act in the role of Presales when required
