Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Junior Cashier to join our team in Madrid Spain. As a Junior Cashier you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while handling financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Operate the cash register and process various forms of payment including cash credit cards and digital payments
- Accurately count and handle money making change when necessary
- Scan items bag purchases and ensure proper pricing
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift
- Assist customers with inquiries product information and locating items in the store
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
- Assist with inventory management and restocking when necessary
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling
- Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
