The Red Gate Group is seeking a Business Analyst with knowledge of CAS2Net to provide support the a Program Office under the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (OUSD (A&S) in Ft Belvoir VA. This program offers a flexible alternative to the traditional GS personnel system empowering innovative personnel management strategies across the Department of Defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support by responding to questions system configuration and data administration requests submitted to the Service Desk and AcqDemo Contact mailbox.
- Maintain the CAS2Net 2.0 User Guide.
- Review and provide feedback for updates to any training materials.
- Analyze CAS2Net issues to advise and educate users through verbal communication job aids and other information resources.
- Analyze manual business processes to translate customer business requirements into technical acceptance criteria and provide recommendations for new technologies to better meet program goals.
- Provide inperson and online instructorled training sessions as required.
- Facilitate biweekly sprint backlog grooming to prioritize the development of tasks to complete in the upcoming sprint and sprint review/planning sessions to review changes being released for user acceptance testing and validate requirements for tasks being worked before the sprint starts.
- Provide monthly AcqDemo demographics to update the AcqDemo website.
- Coordinate with CAS2Net testers to complete user acceptance testing and provide results to development staff.
- Develop Pay Pool Advisories to communicate AcqDemorelated information to participating organizations.
- Provide agendas meeting minutes release notes advisories and other AcqDemo communications.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Business Management or a related field
- 5 years or more of relevant experience
- Knowledge of the Agile Scrum development methodology to facilitate the continuous iteration of planning developing testing and releasing business value to CAS2Net web application users.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products to develop training materials user guides presentations agendas meeting minutes release notes and other communications related to the AcqDemo program.
Desired:
- Knowledge of alternative personnel systems (e.g. Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System and Science and Technology Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Projects)
- Knowledge of Federal Government human resources policies and procedures
- Professional SCRUM Certification
