Job Description
We are currently seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer for a position in our Houston TX office. This position offers the opportunity for you to utilize your leadership skills and expand your career goals.

Responsibilities:
- Provide design for structural components necessary for the development of a project.
- Perform structural wood and steel calculations for commercial and residential projects.
- Perform reinforced concrete calculations for building slabs spread footings retaining walls etc.
- Structural engineer shall have ability of understanding interpreting and correctly applying national codes and standards such as IRC IBC ASCE7 ACI and AISC.
- Keep up to date on new engineering processes techniques and IMS and standards.
- Ensure that effective methods and design/engineering techniques are used.
- Resolve project issues and problems.
- Provide technical guidance to coworkers.
- Contribute to a team environment by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.
- Works autonomously without direct supervision.
Qualifications:
Certificates & Licenses:
- State of Texas Structural Engineer License
