Job Description
The Shipping Supervisor oversees shipping activities and ensure adherence to production schedules quality standards and safety regulations. This role is responsible for supervising personnel driving continuous improvement and achieving key performance objectives.
Shift: Monday Thursday 5:30 AM 4:00 PM You will normally work this shift however may need to work on Fridays based on company needs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate shipping activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and safety regulations.
- Develop maintain and audit Standard Work to enhance efficiency and consistency.
- Achieve departmental and corporate goals for safety quality and productivity.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment by proactively addressing hazards.
- Lead and mentor shipping employees fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Train employees on proper equipment usage and best practices.
Qualifications :
- 36 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or shipping environment preferred.
- Strong analytical problemsolving delegation and conflictresolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Associate or Bachelors degree in a technical or businessrelated field preferred.
