SAP Finance Solution Architect O2C is a specialized role focusing on the technical aspects of implementing SAP finance solutions to optimize financial processes within an organization. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP finance subledgers modules such as SAP AR SAP SD and Serralas Autobank combined with handson implementation experience and the ability to align these solutions with the organizations financial strategies and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review initial requirements against current business processes to identify gaps or opportunities for improvement
- Provide advice on technical implementation approaches and their implications
- Support the process leads and process owners by offering insights on architectural decisions and their alignment with business needs
- Support FittoStandard Workshops to align business processes with SAP best practices & standards and Metro global template
- Review design of endtoend process solutions that meet Metro standards and collaborate with the Process leads and owners to evaluate solution design changes
- Ensure architectural governance by enforcing adherence to established SAP standards design principles and standards
- Oversee the development of custom extensions or interfaces minimizing deviations from standard SAP functionalities
- Support test preparation for future test
- Support deployment activities including cutover planning system readiness validation and final data migrations
- Provide ongoing support to address postgolive issues and stabilize the solution. Review and approved bugs and required transports
- Identify opportunities for process or system optimization based on business feedback.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Informatics Computer Science or a related field combined with solid knowledge in Financial Accounting and Indirect Procurement
- Professional SAP Expertise: Minimum of 10 years of experience in an R2R process stream and related SAP finance modules particularly SAP AR SD and Serralas Autobank solution. Familiarity with SAP FSCM is advantageous
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of the organization and external partners
- Certifications: Financerelated SAP Certifications are advantageous
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in retail industry is preferred to tailor SAP solutions effectively
- Languages: excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Travel: ability to travel is required.
