Job Description

The Role

The Conference department from Bosch Security and Safety Systems is looking for an enthusiastic intern!

We are looking for a Media Engineering (Recording) Intern to help us build a robust and secure solution for capturing multilingual conference sessions. Our organization uses Dicentis a digital conferencing system that outputs RTSP video streams and Dante audio channels including multiple language interpretations and a main floor audio feed.

The goal of this internship is to develop a recording system that captures stores and organizes these audio and video streams either locally or to a cloud provider like AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage. This system will enhance our ability to archive monitor and potentially stream meeting content with proper metadata and languagechannel selection.

Your Tasks

  • Research and evaluate tools libraries or frameworks suitable for recording and handling RTSP and Dante audio streams.

  • Design and develop a recording service or script that integrates RTSP video and Dante audio inputs.

  • Implement features to allow selection of specific audio channels (e.g. floor audio or translated languages).

  • Build a flexible output system to support recording to local disk or cloud storage (e.g. AWS S3 Azure Storage).

  • Ensure recordings are securely stored and include clean structured metadata for future access or integration.

  • Address technical challenges related to stream synchronization format compatibility and channel mixing.

  • Implement logging and basic error handling for monitoring and debugging.

  • Write clear documentation and a deployment guide for setting up and operating the recording solution.


Qualifications :

What You Bring:

  • You are currently studying Software Engineering Computer Science or similar direction;
  • You have experience with C# or .NET;
  • You have strong interest in media frameworks such as GStreamer or audio protocols;
  • You have strong interest in working with APIs file I/O and cloud SDKs;
  • You are proficient in English verbal and written;
  • You are available for the minimum internship period of 6 months preferably longer;
  • You can work at our office in Eindhoven;
  • You are based in the Netherlands preferably in Eindhoven.
