Job Description
Energy Efficiency Projects:
- Support local teams monitoring the performance of Building Management Systems including HVAC electrical and other systems controlled by BMS
- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify and address system issues
- Analyze system data to identify optimization opportunities and improve energy efficiency
- Collaborate with the global energy efficiency team and its experts
- Develop and implement strategies to omptimize performance and reduce energy consumption
- Coordinate the integration of new building management technologies and upgrades into existing systems
- Implement energy efficiency measures by optimizing building controls including:
- Tuning parameters and controls
- Modifying control programs for PLCs
- Enhancing visualization systems
Construction and Reconstruction Projects:
- Perform necessary BMS tasks such as programming commissioning testing and servicing
- Support locations and BMS contractors in larger scale projects
- Address backlogs by following up on reconstruction works and updating building controls accordingly
Qualifications :
Education: Degree in electrical engineering building automation mechanical engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience in building management systems (BMS) and automation.
- Handson experience with HVAC systems in buildings with a strong understanding of their operation and control
- Practical knowledge of PLC programming and visualization systems
- Project management experience is a plus
- Familiarity with decarbonization projects is an advantage
Skills:
- Proficiency in control system optimization and energy efficiency measures
- Familiarity with building control systems and protocols
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Project management skills are an advantage
Other:
- Fluent English with strong technicial language proficiency. German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Hungary and the region
