About The Team:
LINQs Research & Development department is dedicated to driving innovation and continuous improvement across Payments Nutrition or Platform teams. Focused on exploring new technologies optimizing systems and developing forward thinking solutions this team plays a critical role in shaping the future of LINQ. Through collaboration strategic problemsolving and rigorous testing they ensure LINQs software remains cuttingedge efficient and aligned with the evolving needs of our customers.
About The Position:
As a Director of Engineering you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of highquality software solutions for the sole purpose of delighting our clients. You will lead and manage several engineering teams who work on various projects across different domains and technologies. You will collaborate closely with the sales consulting other Engineering directors product managers and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction project success profitable accounts and business expansion.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering teams and ensure adherence to best practices standards and methodologies.
- Manage the engineering resources budget and schedule for multiple projects and ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Estimate the scope cost and timeline of new projects and proposals and prepare statements of work (SOWs) and contracts.
- Communicate effectively with clients stakeholders and senior management on project status risks issues and expectations.
- Identify and resolve any technical operational or organizational challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Mentor coach and develop engineering talent and foster a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence.
- Stay updated on the latest trends technologies and best practices in the software industry and evaluate and recommend new tools frameworks and methodologies.
What We Are Looking For:
- 8 years of experience in software development architecture and design with at least 3 years of experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Experience in project estimation project management resource management and authoring system and architectural designs. .
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles practices and methodologies such as agile scrum waterfall etc.
- Skilled in various coding languages platforms and tools such as .NET C# Python SQL Server JavaScript React Angular Azure etc.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and decisionmaking skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
- Experience working on B2B software products that exist in various stages of the product development lifecycle .
- Experience working with onshore and offshore teams in a blended FTE and contractor environment.
- Expertise in modernizing architecture infrastructure and processes to ensure dependable and performant systems.
- Passionate about software engineering innovation and customer satisfaction.
