Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Northern Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and leading teams to success. This role requires a deep understanding of Information Management operations and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) best practices.
Responsibilities:
Plan direct and manage program initiatives to ensure successful delivery of services.
Supervise and lead a team of professionals across various labor categories and skill sets.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels including senior management.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Manage performancebased contracts and task orders in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as a program manager with a preferred minimum of 10 years of experience (PmP Certification desired).
Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with a preference for experience communicating with the highest levels of management.
Knowledge of industryaccepted standards and best practices related to Information Management operations and ITSM.
TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Experience in the military or working with senior military leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated excellence in planning directing and managing Service Delivery or sales efforts in a similarsized services organization to the Defense information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Service Provider (JSP).
Demonstrated successful management and supervision of employees of various labor categories and skills in efforts similar in size and scope as referenced in this PWS.
Knowledge of industryaccepted standards and best practices related to Service Deliverys mission.
Demonstrated experience in a DOD IT environment.
Experience managing performancebased contracts and/or task orders and knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
Experience working in the Pentagon.
Excellent communication skills at senior government levels1.
