Job Description
- Planning estimating and executing system development work to time budget and quality targets.
- Plans and drives system development projects which support the Customer / platform roadmaps
- Selects and adopts appropriate systems development methods tools and techniques.
- Lead systems teams competency requirements
- Ensures that stakeholders are aware of required resources and that they are made available.
- Facilitates availability and optimum utilization of resources.
- Monitors and reports on the progress of development projects.
- Ensures projects are carried out in accordance with agreed architectures standards methods and tools and addresses security and privacy requirements.
- Develops road maps to communicate future development activity.
Qualifications :
- Experience in development within the discipline (SYS ME E/EHW or SW) 810 years)
- Project management capability and experience
- Professional leadership of cross functional teams
- Customer focused product development
- Moderation capability/ negotiation capability
- BES: knowledge in product engineering processes methods & toolboxes (e.g. certification of Leadership Focus Group)
- Networking capability e.g. within BBM product development
- Communicates fluently orally and in writing and can present complex information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
- Works with software engineering team (System/ functional architects Technical Architects and Project managers) to meet the goals of the project or the engagement.
- Work in tandem with project manager to elicit technical and design considerations in overall planning
- Makes decisions which impact the success of architecture as per defined architecture principles and drive problem solving techniques
- Apply the knowledge effectively in unfamiliar situations and actively maintains own knowledge and contributes to the development of others.
- Maintains an awareness of developing practices and their application and takes responsibility for driving own development.
- Rapidly absorbs new information and applies it effectively.
- Drives initiatives and shapes communities.
