Our inclusive and supportive school in Redbridge is looking for a dedicated Computer Science Teacher to empower students with essential digital skills and computational thinking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and accessible Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
- Develop students understanding of digital citizenship online safety and ethical considerations.
- Foster logical thinking and problemsolving skills through coding and algorithmic approaches.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel confident to explore Computer Science.
- Utilize technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the schools digital literacy initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary level (or strong potential as an ECT).
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals and their application in education.
- Understanding of digital literacy and online safety best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
