Who we are
Laurelton Veterinary Hospital a wellestablished and respected small animal practice in Brick NJ is seeking aHospital Managerto lead our dedicated team and oversee the daily operations of our growing practice.
As the Hospital Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital; you will work sidebyside with our Chief of Staff to leader a successful team. This unique position combines collaborative onthefloor duties as a veterinary technicianwithadministrative and business management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the hospital to ensure efficiency and a positive client experience
- Assist the medical team with handson technician duties to support patient care and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee the financial health of the practice including managing budgets monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing strategies for business growth.
- Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and hospital protocols
- Foster a collaborative inclusive and highperforming team culture
- Support staff training performance evaluations and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician or similar role with a solid understanding ofhospital operations.
- Experience with practice management systems (e.g. Avimark Cornerstone ezyVet)
- Proven leadership and management experience ideally within a veterinary or healthcare setting.
- Strong financial acumen including experience with budgets KPIs and business growth strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster a positive and engaging work environment.
- Commitment to providing toptier client service and veterinary care.
Requirements:
- This position requires a minimum commitment of30 hours per week with a strong preference for candidates availableup to 35 hours.
- As our hospital continues to growoperating hours may change. Flexibility is essential andevening and weekend availability is required.
