Description
We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer. Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of an expanding collaboration workflow platform that combines COTS opensource and custom microservices. Responsibilities will include installing and configuring complex software; architectural improvements; managing servers networks and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of security performance and accreditation; and troubleshooting issues and outages.
This position allows up to 12 days/week of telework.Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 callin support as required (roughly one week out of every 68 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked.
Clearance
A current TopSecret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline orfour additional years software engineering least eight 8 years experience in development/engineering such as requirements analysis software development installation integration evaluation enhancement maintenance testing or problem diagnosis/resolution. Masters degree can be substituted for two 2 years experience.
