The Yellowstone Valley Childrens Advocacy Center (YVCAC) is a program of RiverStone Health. The primary function of the YVCAC is to promote a coordinated response to child abuse reports by providing a location where forensic interviews are conducted by trained interviewers and in which partner agencies work together to ensure that children are not further victimized and receive appropriate services. This is a grant funded program which is subject to annual renewal.
The Coordinator will be the primary forensic interviewer for the YVCAC. Other duties will include coordinating MultiDisciplinary Team (MDT) and peer review meetings and other community resources to meet the needs of the YVCAC. Oversite of the YVCAC Advocate and the daily operations of the center to meet NCA accreditation standards are included in the job.

Assess program and client needs and ensure that program objectives are met.
Work with community members and other stakeholders to identify necessary programs and services.
Identify suggest or implement improvements to programs and services.
Plan and oversee outreach activities.
Review interpret and monitor compliance to guidelines laws and regulations.
Prepare reports.
Provide training or technical assistance to partners

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in social services or public health field.
Any combination of experience and training which provide the equivalent scope of knowledge skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters or bachelors degree in social work or related field.
Supervisory Experience
Valid Montana drivers license.
On the job training in forensic interviewing
Onthejob training emergency preparedness training in ICS 100 200 and 700.
Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor during difficult client interactions.
Ability to display nonjudgmental and empathetic listening skills.
High degree of detailoriented skill level.
Knowledge and understanding of protected sensitive patient health information (HIPAA) and confidentiality.
