St. Brendan Catholic School is seeking a parttime .5 FTE 20 hrs) assistant principal for theschool year. St. Brendan Catholic School is located in Bothell WA 25 minutes from Seattle WA). We have one class per grade in preschool through 8th grade with a total of 255 students. The mission of St. Brendan Catholic School in partnership with parents and the parish community is to educate and empower students to act as Disciples of Christ pursue academic excellence and serve the Church and global community. We have an active parent community as well as a supportive and engaging parish priest who enjoys spending time in the school.

Candidates must be practicing Catholics who are committed to sharing our Catholic faith with students and supporting the mission of the school. Candidates must have a bachelors degree (preferably in education). Administrative credentials are preferred but we will consider highly motivated individuals who are in the process of obtaining certification. Candidates should have good organizational and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a motivated and mission driven educator to be part of our supportive and faithfilled school community.

Spiritual Leadership

Support and promote the Catholic identity and mission of the school in collaboration with the Principal Pastor and school community.

Model Catholic values in all interactions and decisions.

Encourage faculty staff and students in their spiritual and moral development.

Academic Leadership

Assist in the development implementation and evaluation of curriculum and instruction that aligns with diocesan standards and the Catholic worldview.

Support teachers in lesson planning instructional strategies assessment and classroom management.

Promote effective use of data to drive instruction and support student achievement.

Coordinate professional development opportunities for faculty and staff.

Administrative Duties

Assist the Principal in daytoday operations of the school includingdiscipline supervision and safety.

Assists with student behavior and discipline with a Christcentered approach.

Support the implementation of school policies and procedures.

Community Engagement

Foster positive relationships with parents parish leadership and the wider community.

Support school events parentteacher conferences open houses and fundraising initiatives.

Communicate effectively and regularly with faculty parents and stakeholders.

St. Brendan Catholic School is committed to attracting outstanding teachers with a competitive salary.

Salary: The salary range for this position is from $28000$38000. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity internal salary ranges market data applicants skills and prior relevant experience degrees and certifications. This position is not benefits eligible.
