Job Summary: As a Category Manager at Amazon youll be responsible for the customer experience and growth of your assigned category. Youll curate product assortments design promotions manage partnerships and develop longterm growth strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical skills creative problemsolving and strong leadership to anticipate customer needs and drive category performance.
Key Job Responsibilities: Develop and execute category strategies to enhance customer experience and drive growth Manage relationships with sellers and brands to expand product offerings Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform decisionmaking Design and implement targeted promotions to increase category performance Collaborate crossfunctionally to improve processes and drive innovation
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience 5 years of experience in retail operations product management or business consulting Demonstrated experience in negotiations and delivering results Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing large data sets to drive performance improvements Background in vendor negotiations pricing strategies and inventory management Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and lead crossfunctional projects Adaptable mindset with a passion for solving complex problems

3 years of with Excel experience
5 years of retail operations product or program management or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
Bachelors degree or 3 years of professional or military experience
Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
Experience in vendor negotiations pricing and promotion inventory management and product development
