Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving impactful change Southern Water is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to spearhead the delivery of highprofile projects and programs that shape the future of water services and Capital Delivery. This is a unique opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams manage complex projects and ensure that Southern Water continues to provide reliable and sustainable services to millions of customers.
Job Overview
The Senior Project Manager will be part of Capital delivery which involves the planning management and of largescale projects aimed at improving and maintaining water services across the Southern Water region. This process is critical to ensuring that we can meet regulatory requirements deliver reliable services to customers and support environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities will include:
- Project Oversight: Plan direct and manage design and construction programs to achieve business goals within schedule and budget.
- Team Leadership: Provide direction and motivation to a team of professionals ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Risk Management: Implement and oversee risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders including customers operations and delivery partners to ensure seamless project .
- Financial & Performance Reporting: Monitor project performance and financial forecasting and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
About You
- Experience: Extensive experience in project delivery particularly in the water or utilities industry.
- Experience: NEC4 experience
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams with strong delegation and problemsolving skills.
- Qualifications: Degree in Science Engineering or Management (or equivalent experience). Chartered status or working towards it is highly desirable.
- Certifications: APM Project Professional Qualification Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner and NEC for Project Managers.
Package
This role will be fulltime Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.
