Job Description
CURRENT INTERNAL TEACHERS ONLY
Summer Academy will be held from July 1 2025 through July 31 2025 with a format of online learning throughout July with facetoface support from July 7 2025 July 31 2025. Based on enrollment classes will be a mix of inperson and asynchronous learning with some classes being held on the Acellus learning management system. Summer Academy teachers will instruct and support students who need to recover credit. Staff will also communicate with home high schools counselors administration and parents.
Academy Dates and Times:
July 7 2025 July 31 2025 on Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. is the facetoface lab hours for students.
Location: Traverse City High School
Schedule and Pay:
- $33/hour
- June 24th and 25th additional time will be provided for logistics and preparation
- July 7 July 31 Summer Academy (students present 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 16 days @ 4 hours per day 64 total hours)
- After July 31 additional time will be provided for logistics related to closing Summer Academy
Required Credential:
Secondary Teaching Certificate in Math English Science Social Studies and/or Special Education
