Working Pattern: Typically 3 days in the office with core hours flexible between 8am to 6pm

Overview
If youve got technical expertise in Bedding or similar have a keen analytical mindset and the ability to manage the technical development of new products then youll absolutely want to keep on reading.
The role
Youll be working closely alongside the Home product teams using your extensive technical knowledge and skills to provide support and ensure product development is meeting the businesss standards for quality value and sustainability as well as adhering to legal and industry standards.
Youll play a key role at every stage of the process. From planning and managing the technical development of new products and ranges through key milestones such as manufacturing inhome performance and end of life.
Youll also take responsibility for analysing product data and approving ranges before working with the Home product team to progress development and agree on a critical path.
Finally youll ensure we are prepared for launch and that all areas of the business receive the necessary samples and information.
Youll be carefully managing new products inseason following up with issues analysing returns data and carrying out store visits and supplier factory evaluations.
About you
Youll have a wealth of technical knowledge ofBedding and/or a strong Textiles and Product background with the ability to communicate it in a clear and compelling way across the business. Youll also be highly analytical and able to accurately interpret data from across the business.
A natural problem solver youll be able to make a logical and inventive contribution to the design and development process as well as expertly managing the technology critical path for development. Youll also have a keen eye for detail and be able to ensure the quality and compliance of all products.
Your Team
You will be working closely on a daily basis with a highly experienced design buying and merchandise team that are dedicated to Bedding. The wider Home Product Technologists are all experts in their own fields and have a wealth of experience at Next.. As a team we are all involved in your initial introduction to Next and ongoing support throughout your career.
