Dish Washer / Prep Cook is an Entrylevel position under the supervision of the New Executive Chef and Sous Chef.
Under new management
- A kitchen steward maintains an establishments kitchen and surrounding areas keeping them clean and sanitary. Your duties include maintaining a cleaning schedule for the kitchen cleaning the stoves ovens pots pans grills and refrigerators and washing dishes glasses and cutlery.
- A Prep Cook plates dishes and completes basic food prepping tasks for the restaurant. Your main duties include preparing and cooking food in a specific station cleaning up prep areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wash and sanitize all dishes and store properly. Assists with the cleaning sanitation and organization of the kitchen walkin coolers and all storage areas.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen floors shelves work surfaces and trash throughout your shift.
- Assist other team members with trash and overall cleanliness of the Club
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by the Chef or Sous Chef.
- Ensures that food is properly stored.
- Change the dish machine every 23 hours depending on business.
- Break cardboard boxes down before putting in the dumpster.
- Assist in the weekly deep cleaning of the kitchen.
- Able to safely lift control and manage 50 lbs of weight.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: $15.50 per hour
