Job Description
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Service Porter to join our team at Payne Edinburg. The Service Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the service department and assisting with various tasks to support the service team. The position is focused on maintaining a clean and safe work environment by ensuring that all oil spills debris and trash are properly handled and disposed of in accordance with company standards.
**Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
**Responsibilities:**
Keep the service department clean and appearance of the service department including bays walkways and surrounding areas.
Immediately clean up oil spills coolant or any other automotive fluids to prevent accidents and maintain safety compliance.
Remove trash and debris from all designated areas regularly throughout the day. Sweep mop and pressure was surfaces as needed. Ensure all cleaning supplies and materials are stored properly and replenished as necessary.
Assist with shop organization by keeping tools and equipment in designated areas.
Follow all safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.
Take direction from and report directly to the shop foreman
**Physical Requirements:**
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand walk bend and reach consistently throughout the shift.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
