Responsibilities:
Our Dock and Door group is seeking a fulltimeParts Specialist for ourWilmington MA branch. This position is first shift M primary responsibilities of the position consist of but are not limited to:
- Process parts for purchases and sales
- Ensure profit levels meet department goals
- Work effectively with all technicians and office personnel
- Ensure customer satisfaction including internal customers
- Check in unpack and put away delivered parts
- Maintain warehouse parts storage placement and overall organization
- Offload & Load deliveries
- Pick package and prepare parts for delivery
- Maintain dock area parts department order and cleanliness
- Assist in physical inventory counts at the Wilmington location as needed
- Incorporate Altas Guiding Principles into daily activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Consistent regular and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start time
Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of previous auto or truck parts experience is preferred
- Previous warehouse experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma/GED
- High level of accuracy
- Ability to interface with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Computer programs Epicor/Silk systems shipping software such as UPS Worldwide and FedEx
- Language Skills Basic: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneonone and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills Basic: Ability to add and subtract twodigit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
- Reasoning Ability Basic: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use hands; Frequently will stand walk sit reach with hands and arms talk/hear; Occasionally will climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
- Vision: To see both close and at a distance depth perception ability to adjust focus and see color
- Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds;Frequentlywill lift from 11 to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift 26 to 100 pounds
- Work Environment: Occasionally will work near moving mechanical parts outdoor weather conditions
