Amazon is looking for a Support Engineer to be part of o global Operational Excellence team.
The team deploy support and maintain software solutions that links our lowlevel automation systems with the cloud moving the business to Industry 4.0 and improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness of the installations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with some of the best engineers in the industry and help support and shape the direction of automation and machine learning systems within one of the worlds largest fulfillment networks.
Key job responsibilities
As a Support Engineer within the Global MAP OE team you will:
Review and test software solutions and new functionalities to make sure that they are 100 error free and ready for the production
Deploy software solutions to our production facilities remotely or onsite
Be part of the network that will support our customers 24/7
Manage trouble tickets to resolution or escalation using existing documentation procedures and tools
Maintain products and systems and perform change management activities using existing documentation or with support from peers
Identify improvements to existing support processes and contribute to support documentation updates and creation
About the team
The Maintenance Automation Platform (MAP) Team plays a critical role in ensuring that machinegenerated data leads to automated appropriate and effective proactive and/or predictive maintenance actions. Our objective is to mature and integrate core software tools into a unified Maintenance Automation Platform.
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
Experience supporting software development for Industrial Automation (PLC SCADA and HMI)
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area including weekends nights and/or holidays
Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
Experience in Unix
Experience in scripting in modern program languages
Experience as Control systems engineer / Automation engineer
Deep knowledge of SCADA systems
Deep knowledge OEE systems
Deep knowledge of AWS services
