The Front End Developer will be integral in developing our Fronius Linuxbased software system. The Front End Developer is responsible for designing developing maintaining and the optimization of our systems web UI. Collaboration with all RnD teams is crucial. This position reports to the Head of RnD Solar Energy.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Develops and conceives new ideas for the Fronius Linux based software platform with user interface.
Designs develops maintains and optimizes the embedded systems web UI (User Interface) using Angular.
Creates quality mockups and prototypes.
Implements new features by transforming mockups into fully functional user interfaces integrated with API enabled microservice built on C based backend.
Designs and develops Web API and RESTful web services using C.
Collaborates with UX/UI designers to implement and enhance user experiences and ensures the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Collaborates with backend developers to integrate frontend components.
Drives and maneuvers solutions that reduce costs expenses and time to market.
Optimizes site speed scalability and responsiveness.
Cooperates with the Agile SCRUM team using Jira.
Utilizes GitLab for version control.
Provides mentoring to junior members of the team.
All other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field.
Proven experience as a FrontEnd Web Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work 5 years of experience preferred.
Indepth knowledge of the Angular framework and state of the art cssframeworktools as well as experience creating RESTful services/APIs using C.
Experience with C and familiarity with backend technologies is a plus.
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript for web application development.
Demonstrable understanding of UI/UX design principles and proficiency with design prototyping tools (e.g. Figma Adobe XD Sketch or similar)
Experience working in an Agile environment Scrum preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with version control
Previous industry experience is highly preferred
Possess a valid passport or have the ability to obtain and pay for a valid passport
Limited Travel
