You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Speech/Language Therapist will provide services to both the Ambulatory Care Network Clinic patients and
BronxCare Health System inpatients. The Speech/Language Therapist will report directly to the Director of
Audiology/Speech Pathology. Consultation services will be provided upon request to all other departments within
BronxLebanon Hospital Center. Services will be provided to persons of all ages with communication and/or
dysphagia disorders
Evaluation and treatment of the following disorders:
a. Speech disorders (e.g. articulation fluency voice).
b. Cognitive/communication speech and language disorders
1. child language disorders (e.g. neurodevelopmental
disorders; autism; mental ation; learning
disabilities.
c. Oralpharyngeal function (e.g. dysphagia/swallowing and related
disorders)
Assess selects and develops augmentative and alternative communication systems and provides training in their use.
Provide evaluation of dysphagia patients using FEES (FlexibleEndoscopic Eval Swallow) and provides MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) testing.
Assumes responsibility for inservice training and program development.
Available to work five(5 days a week 35 hours weekly.
Three to five 35 years of clinical experience with children and adults .
New York State License in Speech/Language Pathology.
Masters in Speech Pathology.
