Job Description:
Plan and develop health education programs and events incorporating various learning techniques and formats (lectures group discussions roleplaying skits etc.
Participate in the development and design of passive health education programming (newsletter bulletin boards brochures web page etc.
Attend weekly staff meetings.
Develop and distribute program assessment tools and evaluate assessment data.
Network with faculty and other campus professionals by creating opportunities for student health education programming and preventive health messages.
Serve as a health information resource for the campus and provide referrals for students to on and offcampus resources.
Actively promote the Peer Health Education program and healthrelated messaging.
- Assist students in a designated academic subject or discipline as needed
- Foster educational growth and development; identify educational needs and provide assistance as necessary
- Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information
- Provide information and excellent customer service to constituents
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
