Summary:
The Operations Analyst works within the Credit Operations team and is responsible for providing analytical and operational support to Accounts Receivable Management. Position will focus on Retail Operations programs requiring support by Credit Operations. Effectively manage the development and implementation of process enhancements. Ensure systems design and functionality matches the organizations business strategies and is clearly communicated to the user groups. Create test scripts and data to facilitate user testing and ensure the enhancement deliverable satisfies the customer group request. Support change communication and coordinate and deliver enduser training.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Personify NRG Power Values
Participate in development and implementation of new processes and tools to streamline workflow
Develop and implement appropriate methods for monitoring analyzing compiling and preparing data for management reports and statistics
Prepare spreadsheets graphics and word documents as required for reporting analysis documentation and presentations
Prepare and/or deliver short presentations for updates findings presentations etc.
Collect data from internal and external sources to facilitate meaningful analysis
Identify root cause of problems and then work on system process training or procedure fixes to prevent issues from occurring
Provide training for new hire onboarding process updates and process refresh training as needed
Create test cases and test system modifications
Represent Credit Operations on crossfunctional initiatives providing sound business decisions and creative recommendations/solutions for system workarounds until program changes and/or enhancements are made to address critical issues
Provide support to the various Canada deregulated energy market and other markets as needed
Participate on the teams Business Continuity Program as an immediate primary participant
Perform other duties as assigned
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business; other disciplines may be considered depending on experience
Direct and relevant industry experience may substitute for some education requirement
Experience:
Two or more years experience in
operations within energy industry or retail operations in competitive consumer services required
consumer credit strongly preferred
Knowledge of the SAP/CCS system is required

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time view computer screen and use mouse and keyboard
Working Conditions/ Physical Requirements:
Remote position with occasional in office days. Remote work is subject to change
Work Hours: 8:00 AM CST 5:00 PM CST MondayFriday. Work outside of traditional business hours and occasionally more than forty work hours in a week may be required
Reliable internet required
Other occasional travel
