We are seeking an experienced Home Health Biller who is extremely proficientinbilling Medicaid and can also actively participate in the daytoday billing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in home health care billing a solid understanding of healthcare regulations and proven billing skills to support the team while ensuring accuracy and timely billing.

Overview: This includes tasks such as insurance billing for private and governmentfunded insurance (Medicare/Medicaid) negotiating rates processing semimonthly billing and ensuring accurate and balanced Billing reports monthly
Key Responsibilities:
Handson Billing: Prepare and submit clean claims to all insurance companies
Followup and Denials: Monitor and follow up on unpaid claims manage denials and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance: Ensure all billing practices comply with current healthcare regulations and coding standards.
Reporting: Generate and review billing reports present summaries to upper management and suggest strategies for improving cash flow and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate documentation and communication regarding patient billing.
Posting all Remittances for Medicare/Medicaid
Requirements:
Indepth knowledge of home health care billing codes insurance claim processes and healthcare regulations.
Proficiency in billing District of Columbia Medicaid/Medicare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Great communication skills with a proven ability to be a team player
Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities with a focus on accuracy and details.
