Predominantly focused on the publicsector Methods is now building a significant private sector client portfolio.

Methods was acquired by the Alten Group in early 2022.

Methods is seeking a proactive results driven individual to join our Bid Team. This role will be instrumental in increasing our bidding capacity and supporting business growth.

The successful postholder will have the opportunity to work on bids of varying size complexity and value which focus on a broad range of services so a flexible approach is key.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales & Development Manager carries out the following tasks:

1. Business Development:

  • Prospect and acquire new strategic accounts while expanding your project portfolio.
  • Identify high valueadded business opportunities within both existing clients and potential prospects.
  • Collaborate with Competence Center Managers and internal stakeholders on complex tender processes.
  • Effectively present the full range of METHODS service offerings.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and foster loyalty to build longterm profitable partnerships.
  • Act as a key liaison between clients and internal departments (technical management structured projects competence centers etc.
  • Continuously monitor client technologies and industry trends to proactively anticipate future needs.

2. Financial management of its customer portfolio:

  • Driving revenue growth and expanding business turnover.
  • Optimizing margin performance within your area of responsibility.


Requirements
  • You have a proven track record of at least 4 years in industry services or ITrelated roles.
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and are strongly resultsdriven.
  • You excel at building relationships and have strong influencing skills.
  • You are ambitious and motivated to progress into leadership or management positions.

This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website . If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria then your employment may be delayed or rejected. Details of this will be discussed with you at interview.
