Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field plus 6 years of experience in clinical or retail pharmacy required or any combination of the three including 1 year managing process and/or application.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Must complete UAMS Leadership Essentials within two years of promotion/hire date and Leadership Academy within one year of promotion/hire date unless courses are not offered by UAMS within this timeframe.
The ability to lead meetings resolve conflicts maintain issue lists and manage a project plan
The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community which directly influences how the system will be utilized
Strong communication and followup skills
Required certification: Epic Willow Inpatient. Must currently be certified or obtain certification within 12 months.
Preferred Qualifications:
EMR experience.
PharmD or MS with a Residency or Certification as a Licensed Registered Pharmacist by the State of Arkansas or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for supervising and participating in the teams work and distribution of responsibilities related to system build testing implementation support and maintenance of assigned Epic applications ensuring that service level agreements and deadlines are met.
Communicates team performance to upper management and provides feedback on team member evaluations.
Performs indepth analysis troubleshooting data collection and root cause analysis and then identifies and/or implements potential solutions for issues related to the system or its usage.
Analyzes/reviews and tests each product release and communicates needed changes to operations.
Documents follows and enforces change control procedures for the system.
Drives and facilitates coordination of efforts required from analysts system vendors and operations to ensure that system integrity is maintained and that IT deliverables meet operational business needs.
Researches analyzes facilitates and implements business and system workflows in order to expedite process improvement and coordinate business practices.
Identifies best practices and implements opportunities for standardization.
Prepares activity and other reports as necessary.
Attains necessary certifications as applicable in a timely manner according to policy.
Provides OnCall support for the application.
Provides procedural and technical guidance and supervision to team members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
