Job Description
Peterson Cat has a need for an experienced Parts Salesperson at our Ukiah CA location.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Provide Customer First experience via phone and walk in by understanding customer needs and exceeding their expectations.
Make high value recommendations to customers relating to parts through proactive selling.
Leverage marketing campaigns with all existing and prospective customers and upsell partsrelated opportunities.
Maintain a mutually beneficial relationship with established customers and develop new customers.
Maintain a working knowledge of company products services and parts including their price value relationships.
Actively participates as a user of Five9 Call Center software.
Actively participates in all team meetings.
Supports customer activation goals with
Complete all necessary transaction documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow up with customers on parts sourcing and the estimated ship dates and arrival of back ordered parts.
Research recommend and provide pricing for parts to external customers and internal customers as needed.
Maintain current reference material as needed to supplement company information databases for example Peterson Information Folder.
Communicate customer needs to the appropriate Machine Sales Product Support and/or Inside Sales Representatives.
Stay current on all assigned training materials. Request additional training as needed.
Assist in other department activities as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintains punctual regular and predictable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of two 2 years of experience in parts or sales preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The pay range for this position is: $27.09 $30.00 (Starting wage will depend on experience and education. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
