As the Director Pharmacy Services you will be reporting to the Chief Pharmacy Officer this position is responsible for the leadership of Ambulatory Pharmacy services to support adult pediatric and perioperative services within the OHSU HospitalAmbulatory Infusion and Doernbecher Childrens Hospital. You will also works directly with the Chief Pharmacy Officer to prioritize work and initiatives in alignment with OHSU Health Enterprise strategy.Responsibilities include but are not limited to employee supervision; education and training of staff; programdevelopment; management of business and professional activities of the pharmacies; quality assessment andprocess improvement; and maintenance of practice standards customer service compliance with accreditationstandards and applicable laws and regulations; coordination of pharmacy services with other hospitaldepartments and teaching of pharmacy interns and residents. You will collaborate with hospital finance to identify opportunities for growth cost savings and budget formation. Additionally this position providesoversight in implementation of automation and technology and would collaborate with hospital leadership toassess prioritize and implement gene therapy at OHSU.

The incumbent will spend a significant amount of time at a computer terminal. The position must deal with
situations on a daily basis with a high degree of intensity. In addition within the health care setting there
can be significant lack of control over the work pace with frequent interuptions (work is often dictated by
external factors) that may lead to mental fatigue or stress
