Integration Director
Location: Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.
The Integration Director will play a critical role in leading M&A integration strategies including acquisitions and transition services for divestitures. This role is part of Elevance Healths Strategy & Transformation organization and is a strategy and executionoriented partner to Corporate Development.
How you will make an impact:
- Serves as an active participant in due diligence and deal negotiation process to evaluate integration risks/opportunities for targeted companies
- Develops postclose integration planning and strategies for acquired companies into Elevance Healths diversified healthcare business.
- Defines financial value drivers for deals and builds detailed plan to ensure that value is realized.
- Formulates specific needs for transition services agreement and key deal terms for divestitures
- Facilitates/leads high level integration meetings with acquired company senior management and facilitate development of integration strategies for acquisitions
- Interacts with Legal and target company senior leadership in developing integration plans and identifying issues/concerns to ensure alignment of objectives
- Develops structure/process to manage various integration activities
- Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 8 years healthcare industry experience including experience with company structure and processes and experience with projects that cross functional organization lines and entail interdepartmental dependencies; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills Capabilities and Experiences:
- MBA or other graduate degree preferred.
- Prior acquisition divestiture and integration experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
- Experience in strategic planning or strategy consulting in the healthcare industry preferred.
