Job Description

Completes data entry for care notes with medical record data for clients/patients. Utilizes Salesforce Billing & Payroll system to complete all data entry in preparation for payroll and billing processing.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school graduate.

  • Computer literate for functions of data entry and basic word processing.

  • Experience with an EMR or Salesforce a plus.

  • RHIT certification a plus.

  • Experience handling PHI PII and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be detailoriented and maintain high level of accuracy on all projects.

  • Works well with others.

  • Flexible with a positive and helpful attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Open mail sent in from the field and sorts mail by billable versus nonbillable documents.
  • Transcribe all care notes received in the Salesforce Billing & Payroll system queue.
  • Ensure accuracy through spot checks and scheduled audits.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to ensure accuracy of all medical data entry.
  • Complete transcription for biweekly payroll deadlines and monthly billing deadlines.
  • Minimal overtime when required to complete all medical data entry.
  • Prepare care notes to be picked up by the scanning vendor for processing.
  • Manage SharePoint archival site for medical records documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The typical base pay range for this role is USD $35360 $52000 per year.

Individual base pay depends on various factors in addition to primary work location complexity and responsibility of role job duties/requirements and relevant experience skills and other marketbased factors.
