Job Description
EU Prime and Engagement team is seeking an experienced and proven Software Development Engineer (SDE) to lead medium to large crossfunctional strategic initiatives that support EU Prime Speed and Savings strategic goals. This is a unique opportunity for someone inspired by Amazons highgrowth Prime business to make impactful contributions to shape the future of Prime in EU region.
We are open to hire in any EU region London Paris Madrid Amsterdam Munich or Luxembourg. Feel free to reach out for any EU place even if location description says London.
Key job responsibilities
As an SDE you are responsible for setting a high bar throughout the software development and deployment lifecycle including design development documentation testing and operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software and application development AWS technologies business judgment curiosity and superior written and verbal communication skills. He/she will work closely with the business and technical teams to analyze many nonstandard and unique business problems and use creative problem solving to deliver results.
He/she will be a selfstarter comfortable with ambiguity able to think big and be creative while paying careful attention to detail and will enjoy working in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
Experience (noninternship) in professional software development
Experience in professional noninternship software development
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including objectoriented design
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
