Are you passionate about empowering refugees and immigrants to achieve financial independence and stability Do you want to make a meaningful impact in a diverse multicultural community CAPI a leading nonprofit organization is looking for a dedicated Financial & Homeownership Services Coach to join our Economic Empowerment team.

About CAPI: At CAPI we guide refugees and immigrants on their journey toward selfdetermination. Serving over 7000 new refugees and immigrants annually we are proud to be an inclusive multilingual and immigrantled nonprofit organization. Our core service areasBasic Needs Economic Empowerment and Civic Engagementprovide comprehensive support to Minnesotas Asian East and West African Latinx and underserved USborn communities.

What Youll Do: As a Financial & Homeownership Services Coach you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals. You will provide oneonone coaching and group education focusing on budgeting credit building homeownership and financial planning. Youll also collaborate with community partners to enhance the continuum of financial services at CAPI ensuring our clients have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized financial and homeownership coaching to guide participants through budgeting credit improvement and accessing financial services.
  • Promote and facilitate engagement with CAPIs Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) activities including workshops employment services and benefits enrollment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners to expand the reach and impact of CAPIs financial services.
  • Track and evaluate participant outcomes using CAPIs Salesforce data management system contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
  • Support CAPIs civic engagement initiatives helping to empower our community through voter registration outreach and advocacy efforts.

What Were Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: A 2year degree with 2 years of related experience or 4 years of experience in financial services or homeownership coaching.
  • Skills & Abilities: Bilingual in English and Spanish is required. Knowledge of financial and homeownership programs budgeting and credit building. Strong communication project management and cultural competency are essential.
  • Certifications: A valid MN Drivers License and a reliable transportation commitment to obtaining HUD certification and other relevant financial counseling certifications within the first 12 months of employment.
