Landscape Foreperson
Summerhill Landscapes currently has openings for Forepersons to work with our Landscape Construction and Landscape Maintenance on a philosophy of applying the lessons of high level horticultural education to the of work in the field the Summerhill team is a true collective with over 300 years of field experience and 64 years of college level education directly related to the study of horticulture. The firms passion is to build and maintain extraordinary gardens and it does so with an ardent sensibility deep experience and a love of the land.
Forepersons will be responsible for driving crew to site and supervising crew under the direction of Project Managers and Maintenance Supervisors.
- Assist crew members in the installation/maintenance of material as per company standards.
- Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment
- Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
- Ensures that all equipment is operated safely and maintenance procedures are followed.
- Supervises all crew members during the performance of all assigned work.
- Reports for duty at the designated location on time each day.
- Follows directions from supervisor.
- Ensures that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to.
- Monitors all tools equipment and machinery for needed maintenance.
- Track and record all expenses and hours worked accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
