The Client: We proudly represent a global Mining & Construction equipment leader. Our clientdesigns and manufactures an extensive range of products including drill rigs Loaders Trucks Haulers Dumpers & Tunnel Borers used across various industries. This innovative progressive client prides itself on commitment to customer service employee retention & satisfaction. As well as progressive social and environmental responsibilities & targets.
We currently work in conjunction with this client on various Gold and CooperOre mines in various locations across WA.
This Role: This is 2 weeks on 2 weeks off roster with Day & Night shifts in rotation.
We are seeking 4 x experienced & reliable Drill Fitters / Mechanical Fitters with strong maintenance repair diagnostic & hydraulic experience to ensure equipment continues to run at its optimal condition. Working on an array of mobile plant DrillRiggs D65 T45 and Pitviper & Diesel LHDs (Loaders Haulers Dumpers. These positions are initially casual with the opportunity to transition to fulltime for those demonstrating the appropriate aptitude & attitude.
Successful candidates will have or be:
- Experience in Mechanical Heavy Mobile Plant or Heavy Road Transport
- Specific experience on listed plant equipment preferred.
- Diagnostic experience of plant hydraulic and mechanical equipment.
- Australian Recognized Trade Certificate
- Forklift EWP Working at Heights (Preferable not a must)
- Physically fit Positive attitude
- Pass Preemployment medical & DAS
- Provide an NPC (National Police Clearance)
- Seeking ongoing fulltime work after the probationary period
- Willingness to undertake additional paid training & Inductions
- Current drivers licence
- Additional HRLs (HighRisk Licences well received
- White card
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate.
- Driven committed to a high level of quality work and safety
- Experience within Mining or Heavy industry environments
- Ability to prioritise repair schedules minimise equipment downtime.
- Thorough recording of all repairs services parts diagnostics
- Promote safe working environment adherence to procedures & protocols
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure efficient workflows
- Seeking ongoing fulltime work after the probationary period
- Willingness to undertake additional paid training & Inductions
- Safety conscious polite diligent
